I got the new Ring Stick Up Cam to put in my Sun-room so that I could monitor the dogs use of the doggie door. It was exceptionally easy to setup, much easier than previous cameras. It has worked flawlessly and I should know because I get a lot of motion detection with dogs going in and out at all hours of the day and night. I was especially impressed with the night vision of this camera. Night motion videos are clear, not grainy, and very detailed. I do have a couple of old Stick Up Cams located outside. They are nice but not nearly as nice as the new Stick Up Cam. I'm going to keep this one in my Sun-room, but eventually, I will slowly replace my other Stick Up Cams with the new Stick Up Cam.

This new ring stick up camera is super easy to set up and use. The mounting options are what sells it for me though. They include everything you need in the box without having to buy an accessory kit or something. The only thing I wish was that they had released the black version first, I'm not sure who wants to see the white version standing out like a sore thumb in their home. Maybe it's just me. Also, a way too turn off the blue motion activated LED light would be great. It has a great picture and has been reliable, so those are the main things to get right!

This was second time I bought from Meidase based on good experience from their trail cameras, super price unable to refuse. New camouflage color, nice look, still great quality, excellent picture and video, seemed to be upgraded and have better night vision and easier operation, more intuitive operation prompt on the screen and menu settings than before. So easy to instantly playback pics and videos.

For first use, fully read the user manual, make sure each battery inserted with correct polarity (negative or "flat" end against the long spring of each battery slot). It is important that after you program the camera, remember to set the camera to "ON" position that is the right mode for live motion activated and trail game purpose, otherwise it will not take pictures. If placing it outdoor or installing it on a tree, recommend to test the best trigger distance and adjust the height and view angle for the best pictures per the instruction, this might require several tries, but it is worth, especially for nighttime pics.
