There is an abundance of wildlife where I live. It’s great to get photos and videos of the more shy or nocturnal animals. The HC 300 has a very easy and intuitive interface when setting it up the first time. The picture quality is not quite as good as the HC 400 but much better than the HC 200. I will need to tweak the sensitivity a little as I got a lot of photos of blowing leaves. That is an easy to change setting. The shutter seems to be as fast as the HC 400 which is a positive. The camera itself seems to have very tight seals so it looks to be quite weatherproof. All things considered, it has a lot of positives for a very reasonable price.
